Key Responsibilities
- Project Documentation: Gather all necessary project documents, drawings, specifications, and schedules to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project.
- Preparation: Create accessible project folders for team review.
- Detailed Analysis: Study documents, blueprints, and specifications to create precise and accurate tracking.
- Quantity Survey: Perform thorough quantity surveys matching project scope.
- Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks, requests, client relationships, and ongoing projects.
- Client Engagement: Communicate with clients to identify project-specific requirements.
- Client Follow-Up: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to secure future projects.
- Project Setup: Set up projects per the negotiated proposal and scope, including schedule of values, material lists, labor breakdowns, progress scheduling, subcontractor and material supplier buyout, and more.
- Cost Monitoring: Continuously monitor job costs, ensuring quality control and managing budgets.
- Project Closeout: Complete project closeout with comprehensive cost capture and negotiated extra work.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of Estimating and Project Management methods and tools.
- Preferred with Estimating and Project Management Software.
- 1+ years of experience in commercial construction, with mechanical insulation experience preferred.
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites or project locations.
- Ability to relocate for months at a time.
- This position may involve working in both an office setting and onsite at current projects.

- Bachelor’s or better in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineer, equivalent degree, or on the job experience equivalent.
